Grace Corless.
With our heartfelt sadness we announce the death of Grace Corless. Her funeral will take place on Friday 8th November 11.30am at Lancaster ; Morecambe Crematoriam and afterwards at Cockerham Village Hall. Our sincere condolences go to her family and friends.
Grace was an amazing character with so many friends. She loved her bowling. She had played in her time for Galgate but mostly Grace was a staunch player and supporter of Cockerham Bowling Club. Grace was a great supporter of our ladies league spectating and marking at every competition for many years. She will certainly be missed by all her friends and family. RIP Grace x

Doubles Day.
Doubles Day was held at Pilling Reading Rooms on August 10th. The winning pair was Dawn Benn ; Jackie Owen (Goose Green) with Jean Harrison ; Frances Roskell (Out Rawcliffe A) the runners up. The semi Finalists were Gill Bailey ; Linda Buckley (Stalmine) and Gillian Wright ;Teresa Wareing (Longridge Cons). Thank you once again to our President, Mrs Eileen Dobby and all the ladies for the wonderful refreshments and hospitality.
