Captains have been given the option to postpone matches or adjust start times this Friday, 26 June, due to the forecast hot weather conditions.

The decision follows guidance issued by North Lancs & Fylde, with the committee confirming that captains may use their discretion when arranging fixtures.

Player welfare remains the priority, and captains and players are encouraged to exercise sensible judgement throughout the day.

Any team choosing to postpone a fixture must notify the Fixtures Secretary as soon as possible.

The committee thanks all clubs and players for their cooperation in helping ensure matches are conducted safely during the period of hot weather.

A big thank you to everyone who attended Betty's funeral, and for all the lovely cards and messages of condolence and support.

Betty would have been so pleased to see all the bowlers from different clubs paying their respects at the crematorium. The Guard of Honour by the East End ladies was also very much appreciated by the family.

The End of Season Mixed Doubles will be held at Mythop BC hosted by our President Caroline Wilkinson.

The qualifiers will be on Saturday/Sunday 26th/27th September with

the Finals Day on Friday 2nd October.
