It is with great sadness I must report the passing of Alan Noblet on Saturday 11th April. Alan was a member of the Barton Bowling Club for many years. He was part of the team who built the new pavilion; President of the club twice; a team captain; greensman and general fixer upperer. It would be impossible to count the number of hours “Nobby” spent on and around the green, making it a better place for all members. We shall sorely miss his presence, support and friendship.

Garstang Subscription Bowling Club advises that parking is not permitted on the private car park owned by Garstang Community Sports Club. (ie. the tennis/football club entrance) The owners rent the spaces out and need them to be kept free at all times. There is a public car park off the High Street and an entrance to the club from there. Charges apply.
