    Bowling Coaching Courses.
    North Lancs & Fylde County will be running Level 1 Crown Green Bowling Coaching Courses in the New Year. The course will give a fully recognised national qualification and comprises of two Zoom sessions (each lasting about 2 hours), a full day practical session at a local venue and then a short assessment for sign off. The cost of the course will be £32.50. If anyone is interested in becoming a coach to support your club in increasing its memberships, then please contact Pete Harris on 07956 412

    Division 2 Fixtures.
    Division 2 Fixtures for week 2 have been slightly ammended, I am now working on division 2 fixtures for the rest of the season, please bare with me, and I will have them sorted in the next couple of days

    Fixtures Update For 2021 Season.
    With Teams dropping out, this years fixtures have been very hard to sort out, and many clashes have occured. The first weeks fixtures are correct, no clashes, nearly all divisions for the rest of the season are correct, but Division 2 needs some alterations. These will be finished in the next couple of days. Any clashes in other divisions that we have missed, please ring me on 07508 917710 to discuss, thank you for your patience.

    2021 Season.
    As long as the Government Rules allow, The Preston & District League fixtures will start week commencing 17th of May to coincide with the Pubs and Clubs being allowed to open

    CORONAVIRUS UPDATE.
    As per Government and BCBGA directives, we have no alternative but to suspend indefinately all bowling, league and cup, until further notice. Consequently, the Delegates / Registration Night on 31st of March is also cancelled. Please Stay Safe, and I wull keep you informed of any changes.

    New Coronavirus Update.
    New directives about the Coronavirus states that shortly over 70's may be asked to stay indoors and self isolate. The situation is changing day by day. To make an informed decision on how the league will proceed, THE REGISTRATION NIGHT WILL BE MOVED TO MARCH 31st AND BE A COMBINED DELEGATES / REGISTRATION MEETING. Please canvas your team members, especially the elder members to see how they would like the season to proceed

    Coronavirus Update.
    Due to the continuing threat of the Coronavirus, and the Age Demographic of our sport, we believe the Health of our members is of overiding importance, hence, we have made a decision to postpone the first 2 rounds of the cup, due to be played before the season starts, which will hopefully be played later in the season. At this juncture, the league will start as planned on the 14th April, but we will keep you informed of any future developments.If you have any questions contact me on 07508 917710
